Need help now? The Security and Response Team are available 24/7 on 01334 468999. If a crime is in progress or you require urgent medical attention, please call 999. If outside the UK, please call the emergency service in that locality. Please also see our support pages. You have chosen to disclose an incident/concern anonymously. This means the University will not collect any personal details from you.
Anonymous disclosures let the University know something has happened. Your disclosure will help the University better understand and give us the opportunity to proactively address any recurring themes or issues that are highlighted within our community. We take all disclosures seriously, but if you choose not to provide your name or contact details, this will constrain the University's ability to take any action.
However, you now have the option to engage with a member of staff through our anonymous messaging system. You will be asked whether or not you want to use this service after question 8, before you review and submit your response.
If you prefer, you can choose to disclose to an adviser instead (this is not anonymous). This will allow you to speak to an appropriate member of staff, with whom you can explore the possible options you have available to you. For example, this conversation may be used to provide you with more information or you may choose to make an official complaint or register your concern. These sessions will also allow you to be referred for specific support where this is appropriate. You can
read more information on the questions you will be asked.
You are in control of this process and it is up to you whether you decide to continue with this process after this stage.
